I think its really important to keep the mirroring consistent. If the live view is mirrored the final result should be also mirrored (simulates a real selfie taking)

Add Opacity slider & blend mode adjustment to "Overlay" effect

Rather than having no preview available, use the local AI Background Removal for the preview when using Online AI Background Removal. It's not exact, but it should be a really close approximation...
