What's new on Snappic

We're excited to announce that one of our most requested features is finally here!

DSLR support for VideoFX has been officially integrated into the Snappic app and is now available in open beta 🎞 📷 🎉

You can now use your compatible Canon or Nikon DSLR/mirrorless cameras with Snappic. This will let you create amazing video experiences, especially when paired with Snappic's unique video effects. Pretty exciting, right?

Please make sure that you have updated your Snappic app on all of your IOS devices (Snappic version 1.23). This is to ensure that you are on the latest version (if not automatically updated), which will include all of Snappic's new features and bug fixes.

Additional improvements

Camera settings for DSLR cameras are now saved and restored automatically.

Known Issues

Some (but not all) templates that use AI Segmentation will fail to render when recording with a DSLR camera. We are investigating this, and will hopefully have a fix soon. Until then, removing the AI segmentation effect should solve the issue. We will update you when we have more info about this.
